Miniature Mondays: Bonesplitterz Skull Thumpa

This week's finished model is a skull thumpa for my first unit of savage orruks. With this model, I am 50% finished with the first warscroll of savage orruks. A bit of a milestone for me as I generally hate painting units that are larger than 3-5 models as it starts to feel repetitive. Good thing with Mr. Thumper is that finishing him is motivating me to paint another savage orruk right away.

Miniature Mondays: Spirit Host

 Used this last week to finish up some models that were started at some point but sitting on my painting table waiting to be completed.  This is the third spirit host for my first warscroll.  Basing is pretty generic for now, but I plan on circling back with something better when I return to working on my death army.

Decided to take a crack at painting a pink horror in more traditional colors.  Still need to settle on a color for the tongue, but the majority of the model is completed.

Splash of Color - Feb 2, 2017

If you have been a long time follower of my blog, you may recall an old series I posted called The Wednesday Peek.  In that series, I would post a picture showing only a part of model (pretty similar to what GW does now on the Warhammer Community site) and have folks guess what it is.  This is a new take on that idea, but instead of a model, I am going to share a picture of a paint in my palette.  I will provide a hint, usually the manufacturer of the paint, and see if readers can guess the color by leaving comments in the section below.
