The Gloomspite Gitz Invasion - Fanatic #1

A little something different for this week.  Until I jump into the new kit, I am simply referring to these guys as fanatics.  Of the three models in the original plastic kit, this is pose I liked the most out of them.  I anticipate for the next one, I will be painting up the fanatic that came with Zorbag's Gitz.

The Gloomspite Gitz Invasion - Moonclan Grot #3

The next grot has joined the invasion.  This little fellow is from the boxset and was a bit of an experiment in changing up a couple colors from the other two models.  Don't feel the robes came out as good, but I do like the red on the model.

The Gloomspite Gitz Invasion - Moonclan Grot #2

Another grot joins the invasion.  I am really liking the models from Zarbag's Gitz from Warhammer Underworlds.

The Gloomspite Gitz Invasion - Moonclan Grot #1

The Gloomspite Gitz Invasion has begun on the Unstable Dice.  We will be talking more about the invasion in a future episode of the podcast, but the goal starting today is to post a new model each week until the end of 2019.  A lofty goal for me, but one I hope is achievable this year.

Episode 11 - Clawcon 2018

In this episode, Lucias Meyer is back on the show to talk about Clawcon 2018.  Before sharing his experiences at Clawcon, we chat about the hobby, drop a rumor or two about future releases, and generally just have a good time talking.  Afterwards, Lucias shares his experiences at Clawcon 2018.  To wrap up the episode, we answer a listener question about Nighthaunts.

Episode 10 - Piss Off Ghost!

In this episode, Chuck and I are joined by Lucias Meyer. Nighthaunt player and host of the now retired Battleshock podcast. We start the show off with introducing our guest and talking about the metrics that were shared by the Honest Wargamer this week.

Next, we breakdown our top 3 Nighthaunt warscrolls. A few surprises and a good analysis of some of the units we think make for a good Nighthaunt list. Lucias even shares some of his experiences with a couple units not on the list.

We wrap up the show with another 5 Questions. This week's questions are all Nighthaunt themed, so expect a few ghostly surprises.

Episode 8 - Siegeworld Part 1

Warning: This episode contains course language, inappropriate behavior, poor microphone quality, vulgar gestures, sexually explicit content, and lots of giggling.  Listener discretion is advised.

I also apologize...

It is time once again to grab a hammer, strap on a shield, and pull up your pants.  We are breaking down our results for the first day of Siegeworld 2018. This episode was recorded on the first night of Siegeworld from our hotel.  Joe, Chuck and I discuss our results from each of our games and talk about the first day of one of my favorite AoS events in the Midwest.

Episode 7 - Siegeworld Prep

It is time once again to grab a hammer, strap on a shield, and pull up your pants.

John is talking about Age of Sigmar on the Unstable Dice Podcast. In this week's episode, I am on a solo mission to breakdown my list for Siegeworld 2018.  I babble about what I am taking at 1000 points and some of the general tactics I will be using with my Lord Executioner focused Nighthaunts list.  I also ramble for a bit about what has been happening with the league I have been running and my general hobby progress.

On the Bench: Knight of Shrouds

This model was a real pain to complete.  The final result is fine, but nothing I am excited about at the moment.

Episode 6 - Chuck's Midwest Meltdown

It is time once again to grab a hammer, strap on a shield, and pull up your pants.  We are talking Age of Sigmar on the Unstable Dice Podcast In this week's episode, we kick things off with talking about the FAQs that were just released and a few of them that impact us.  Afterwards, we talk a bit about upcoming releases, the pricing of some of the new models and a couple alternative ideas for folks not looking to drop a ton of cash.

In the second part of the show, Chuck breaks down his games at the Midwest Meltdown.  We discuss the format, the use of the new realm rules in a tournament, and the results from the event.  We also announce who from last episode was right about where Chuck would end up at the end of the tournament.

The show ends with America's favorite segment of the show, Five Questions.  This week's questions are all about Chuck's experience at the tournament and what he was feeling after it was over.  We also announce the winner of the Soul Wars painting contest we were hosting on Facebook.
