Episode 6 - Chuck's Midwest Meltdown

It is time once again to grab a hammer, strap on a shield, and pull up your pants.  We are talking Age of Sigmar on the Unstable Dice Podcast In this week's episode, we kick things off with talking about the FAQs that were just released and a few of them that impact us.  Afterwards, we talk a bit about upcoming releases, the pricing of some of the new models and a couple alternative ideas for folks not looking to drop a ton of cash.

In the second part of the show, Chuck breaks down his games at the Midwest Meltdown.  We discuss the format, the use of the new realm rules in a tournament, and the results from the event.  We also announce who from last episode was right about where Chuck would end up at the end of the tournament.

The show ends with America's favorite segment of the show, Five Questions.  This week's questions are all about Chuck's experience at the tournament and what he was feeling after it was over.  We also announce the winner of the Soul Wars painting contest we were hosting on Facebook.

Episode 5 - Three Podcasters of Arcane Power

It is time once again to grab a hammer, strap on a shield, and pull up your pants. We are talking Age of Sigmar on the Unstable Dice Podcast In this week's episode, we are joined by special co-host Joe Flesch from the Hobby Heroes Podcast! The show starts with us talking about how each of us is approaching 2nd edition differently with Chuck focusing on competitive play, Joe hanging in the realm of open play and John kicking off something in the middle with league play.

In the second segment of the show, we breakdown the battleplan Places of Arcane Power. We examine how it impacts certain armies and debate what is the best approach to playing the scenario if your army is not quite built for it.

The show ends with America's favorite segment of the show, Five Questions. This week's list is a mixture of rules questions, thoughts on Easy to Build models and bets on where Chuck will place at the Midwest Meltdown.

Episode 04 - Myrmourn Banshees Don't Break

It is time upgrade to a hammer, strap on a shield, and pull up your pants.  2nd Edition Age of Sigmar has arrived! In this week's episode, we kick things off with discussing the results of the 6 Nations tournament.  We breakdown some of the biggest surprises coming out of how players were using 2nd edition at the event.  We have a good laugh over 64 damage grots and ponder whether Seraphon summoning is such a horrible thing.  Most importantly, we remind ourselves and everyone that GW will fix the problems in a timely fashion.

In the second segment of the show, we review the Myrmourn Banshee warscroll.  We talk about why the new unit is great and a couple tricks we would use with them.  Chuck also works the math to see how many I can fit into a 1000 point army and still be legal.

The show ends with America's favorite segment of the show, Five Questions.  This week's list is a mixture of looking back, planning for the future, and figuring out why Nagash has such poor management skills.
